The Baku Appeal Court accepted the complaint of the lawyers of the site manager jam.az Fikret Faramazoglu. The judge on the case was appointed Namik Mammadov.One of the lawyers of journalist Zibaid Sadigov told RadioAzadlig that the first hearing of the complaint was scheduled for August 28.Lawyers asked the court to pass an acquittal on journalist FikretFaramazoglu, who was imprisoned for 7 years on June 14.The journalist was found guilty under the Article 182 of the Criminal Code (extortion of money by threats). Faramazogluallegedly extorted money from restaurants of various catering facilities, and massage salons. According to the journalist himself, under these objects were hidden dens.
