Head of the pre-trial detention center: Gozel Bayramli's health does not cause concern
Baku / 18.08.17 / Turan: "Gozel Bayramli's health does not cause serious concern, she is under medical supervision, symptomatic appointments are being performed," stated the letter of the head of the Baku pre-trial detention center, Rashid Safarov sent to Elchin Sadikhov, the lawyer of Bayramli.
Lawyers applied in connection with the health of Gozel Bayramli to the management of the investigator, they asked to take the necessary measures to solve the health problems of Bayramli.
In the letter, the head of the remand prison said that Bayramli had undergone medical examination upon admission to the pre-trial detention center. At the initial examination she did not complain about her health. In 2014, she underwent surgery in connection with jaw arthrosis, being at large received treatment for thyroid disorders.
"Gozel Bairmly made a general blood test, a biochemical analysis, she underwent X-rays and ultrasound. As a result of the examination, no pathological changes requiring immediate treatment were found," wrote the chief. The letter also noted that after the lawyers' appeal Bayramli was re-examined.
"Bayramli in the medical and sanitary part of the jail again underwent a clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination. She wWas advised by a therapist and traumatologist. As a result, it was revealed that laboratory analyzes of Bayramli and thyroid activity are within the normal range. There are no signs of a sharp inflammation in the stomach, no signs of restricting movement, no talk and no chewing movements. Bayramli did not express dissatisfaction with the medical service in an interview with our employee. She was informed about the need to present her medical documents," the chief said in a letter to Bayramli's lawyers.
Since the arrest of Bayramli and to this day, lawyers have spoken about problems with her health, about the difficulties in moving. T the trials Bayramli often spoke about health problems. A few days ago, she fell, because it was difficult for her to move about. However, she was never given a cane.
Some time ago, the PFPA activists held a march in front of the Ministry of Justice in order to draw attention to health problems of Gozel Bayramli. Then about 10 activists of PFPA were detained, and then released. The Ministry of Justice did not comment on this issue. -0-
