The first meeting of the working group on the investigation of the remains of Mushvig
Baku / 01.11.18 / Turan: On November 1, the first meeting of the Working Group on the investigation of materials related to the possible discovery of the remains of the poet Mikyail Mushvig, repressed by the Stalin regime in 1938, was held. The meeting was presided over by the head of the presidential administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, attended by: presidential assistant Ali Hasanov, head of the administration department Farah Aliyeva, president of the National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizade, health minister Ogtay Shiraliyev, culture minister Abulfaz Garayev, head of the State Security Service Madat Guliyev, vice president of NASA Isa Habibbeyli, Director of the Institute of History of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov, Head of the National Archive, Asker Rasulov, and Secretary of the Writers' Union Chingiz Abdullayev. At the meeting, the working group was instructed to study media materials on this topic, investigate archival materials, conduct DNA analysis of the alleged remains of the poet. -02D-
