Baku/18.08.22/Turan: On August 19, Colonel Zaur Mirzoev, assistant head of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was charged and arrested by the decision of the Binagadi court, announced on Friday the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Mirzoev "famous" for the fact that in the period 2013-2019 entered into sexual intercourse with employees of the department and recorded it on video on his work computer. The other day, his recordings got on the Internet by unknown means.
In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under the Article 156.2.1 (violation of privacy), 242 (illegal distribution of pornographic materials or items) and 309.2 (abuse of official authority) of the Criminal Code.
On August 17, Mirzoev was detained as a suspect.—16B-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
