The protest actions in Karabakh continue
Baku / 04.06.18 / Turan: An attempt by the separatist leader Bako Sahakyan to calm the protesters for the third day in Khankend (Stepanakert), and force them to disperse, did not give any results.
Several hundred people once again blocked the roadway in the central part of the city near the bus station, Armenian media reported. They gathered to find out about the results of the meeting of the demonstrators with Bako Sahakyan.
One of the organizers of the demonstration David Simonyan announced that, Sahakyan promised to dismiss the leadership of the police and the Security Service, but asked for this time.
However, the assembled refused to believe Sahakyan and demanded immediate decisions.
The protests began after the secret service officers of the local Security Service beat three local residents. The police did not stop the actions of the military, but, on the contrary, detained beaten citizens.
On the same day, hundreds of people gathered in the center of the city, demanding the resignation of the representatives of force structures. Earlier, protesters called on Sahakyan to resign.-02D-
