In the village of Nardaran (30 km from Baku), held a ceremony to mark the Ashura mourning. Thousands of faithful filled the territory of the village of Nardaran feast and its surroundings: locals, as well as people coming from the capital and regions of the country.
During the ceremony, along with religious slogans, there were also calls of political nature. The faithful condemned the detention in Ganja of the participants of the march to a mosque in connection with the Ashura.
Believers demanded: lifting the ban on hijabs at schools, release from prison a theologian Abgyul Suleymanov and leader of the Islamic Party Movsum Suleymanov, to stop the pressure on the former political prisoner, the theologian Thale Bagirzade. Police do not interfere.-06D-
