Three Women Injured in Tree Fall
Baku / 16.10.19 / Turan: Three women were injured in the fall of a tree branch on Monday evening in the Yasamal district of Baku. This happened at a bus stop near the Elmler Akademiyasy metro station.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the victims were taken to the city clinical center. Doctors diagnosed a head injury in one woman and spinal injuries in the other two. After three medical examinations, all three were released for outpatient treatment.
Orkhan Mammadov, representative of the Plant Protection and Gardening Department of the Executive Power of Baku, said that the reasons for the fall of the branch are unknown. "The tree was healthy, without damage," he said. -05D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
