Traffic Police Issued Fines of 30 Million Manat
Baku / 23.01.18 / Turan: In 2017, the State Traffic Police recovered more than 30 million manats from fines from drivers and pedestrians.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, last year 35,154 protocols on the violation of traffic rules by pedestrians were compiled.
The fact of offenses on the part of drivers was fixed by 581,656 protocols.
Accordingly, fines were imposed on pedestrians for 703.1 thousand manat, and on drivers for 29 million 506 thousand manat.
One third of the violations on the part of drivers were related to speeding. -06D--
