Unstable weather in Azerbaijan, it snowed in mountains
Baku/15.05.23/Turan: At night and in the morning on May 15, rains passed through the regions of Azerbaijan; in some regions the precipitation was of a torrential nature, snow is falling in the mountains on Monday, the National Hydrometeorology Service under the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan reports.
Note that 95 mm of precipitation fell in Lankaran, 55 mm in Oguz, 43 mm in Astara, and 31 mm in Gabala.
Speed of the north-western wind reached 20 m/s in Naftalan, 18 m/s in Nakhchivan, 16 m/s in Jeyranchel, 25 m/s in Baku and Absheron.
Wave height at the Oil Rocks station reached 3.8 m.
Air temperature on May 14 was below the climatic norm by 2.8°.
Minimum air temperature in Baku and Absheron was
+13°, in high-altitude places -3°.
On May 16, it will be partly cloudy in the capital, with occasional clarifications. During the day, rain is expected in some places. Northeast wind will change into south by evening.
Air temperature will be +8 +12° at night, +14 +19° during the day.
There will also be precipitation in the regions of the country from time to time, in places of a stormy nature, there is a chance of hail, and snow in mountainous areas.
Precipitation will gradually stop during the day.
Air temperature at night will be +7 +12 °, during the day +17 +22 °.
In the mountains, 0 -4° is expected at night, 0 +5° in the afternoon. -06B-

France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific.
