At the trial of Ismayilli events on Thursday the Sheki Court of Appeal watched videos. According to special correspondent of Turan, in the video, filmed by the Task Group of the Prosecutor's Office on January 24, a witness Rovshan Novruzov, who testified against the leader REAL Ilgar Mamedov, all the while stood next to the prosecutor. Defense regarded this as evidence of perjury of Novruzov and his relations with the investigation. Next were viewed surveillance footage of the Ismayilli of Unibank.
The materials of the investigation alleged that on January 24 between 16:00 and 17:00 when Tofig Mammadov and Yagublu were in Ismayilly, a crowd of people walking on the Akhundova street (i.e. the bank.) However, in the video it is clear that it was not all easy.
In addition, the records of the ANS TV channel shows Tofig Yagublu in Ismayilly in order to deliver him to local police department, where he spent most of the time.
It also refutes the version of investigators that Mammadov and Yagublu incited people to riot.
Further, the court granted a defense motion to subpoena three more witnesses. They will be heard on September 17-18. -06D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
