Who is the new in the list of the "Yeni Azerbaijan"? (UPDATED)
On Tuesday the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan" has published a list of its candidates. In the list there are people who are running for the fifth term: Vasif Talibov, Eldar Ibrahimov, Siyavush Novruzov, Mikhail Zabelin, Hadi Rajabli, Arif Ragimzade. For the third time is running the president's wife Mehriban Aliyeva. At the same time, among the candidates there is not president's uncle, an elderly academician Jalal Aliyev and Rabiyat Aslanova, the mother of the former department head of the Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov. Among the new faces is the editor in chief of "Yeni Azerbaijan" Hikmat Babaoglu. In addition, for the first time is nominated Nasib Mahammaliev, former head of the Nasimi district of Baku. Once again are running for the deputy the head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, head of CJSC "Azerbaijani Railways" Javid Gurbanov.
YAP did not nominate candidates in eight districts from which previously were elected: the head of the Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mehbaliyev, head of United Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev, singer Zeynab Khanlarova, the head of "Ana Vatan" Fazail Agamaly, his former deputy - Zahid Oruj, the father of the head of Ministry of Emergency Situations Fattah Heydarov, head of the Social Welfare Party Khanhuseyn Kazimli and Flora Gasimova - the representative of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh. --06D—

The ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan", at last, has determined the list of candidates for parliament.
On Tuesday, 15 September, a meeting of the party board approved the list of candidates, according to the Party deputy executive secretary Siyavush Novruzov. He said that the majority of the current deputies of the Milli Majlis have been nominated repeatedly. Rectors of higher educational establishments, 53 deputies, have not been nominated.
The list of candidates will be posted on the party’s site soon, Novruzov said. -02D-
