Yasamal people protest against lack of gas
Baku / 29.01.18 / Turan: A group of residents of the Yasamal district of the capital are unhappy with the breaks between the gas supply and its low pressure. Today the residents blocked the street Sharifzade, demanding a solution to the problem.
Employee of the RadioAzadlig residents said that for more than one month in their homes gas, you can tell, does not flow. It's about the back streets of Sharifzade.
"For more than a month, the gas pressure is low. Kettle boils with difficulty. Gas workers every day promise that everything will work out, we can no longer stand this. The weather is frosty, the children are freezing," said a resident named Asker.
Other residents who left to block the road say they are suffering from a similar problem. Some of them do not see gas for 15 days, and some even 2 months. Some of the residents say that local residents block gas supply in order to sell it abroad. Some people think that problems with gas are created artificially.
"They provoke the country, the government, blocking people's gas, forcing them, therefore, to strike. More than a month we do not have gas. Gas is not supplied in order to create a provocation? " asked an elderly resident who did not want to give his name.
He added that they are still not listening even when they protest.
"Nobody comes and explains anything, does not solve the problem. They go there, but there's no point," the resident said.
The residents also said that they had repeatedly appealed to Azerigaz, but none of this management listened to them and did not solve the issue. The road was blocked by residents of Yasamal in only 20 minutes. Police immediately arrived at the scene and pushed the inhabitants away from the road. Only the representative of the executive power of the Yasamal region met with residents, he assured the dissatisfied that within an hour problems in connection with the gas pressure would be resolved. -0-
