ZQAN Holding Acts on Behalf of the Court?
The Chairman of ZQAN Holding, the son of the Minister of Transport, Anar Mamedov has submitted a lawsuit against the newspaper Gyundem Khabar to the Yasamal District Court of Baku.
The trial is scheduled for 11.00 on October 5 under the chairmanship of Sardar Mehraliyev, the Yasamal Court told Turan. The lawsuit was filed on charges of slander.
The lawsuit arose from the article "Son of Minister Captures Railways of the Country" in the newspaper for 24 August.
It is noteworthy that the notice of the proceedings was sent to the editor in an envelope with the details of ZQAN Holding. "The funniest thing is that the subpoena was signed by Ruslan Mamedov - the trustee of the chairman of ZQAN Holding. It turns out that the Yasamal district court is led by ZQAN Holding or is a branch of it. What justice can we expect from this court?" the founder of the newspaper Gyundem Khabar Shirin Jafarli told Turan, commenting on the event.
In turn, the deputy of judge Mehraliyev said the subpoena was sent to the editors of Gyundem Khabar. However, he could not give the number or date of the letter.
Recall that this newspaper has already been fined by the lawsuit from Anar Mamedov on September 4. The fine of 10,000 manat was imposed for the publication of material from the press conference of the head of the Yevlakh bus station. -03B06-
