Exhibition of Artist Lyubov Mirjavadova
«The impression of French culture" - so named is the exhibition of works by artist Lyubov Mirjavadova opened on September 15 in the building of the French Embassy in Baku.
25 works tell of the life and culture of France. Opening the exhibition, the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Pascal Monier told of the importance and contribution of the artist in the art and culture of France.
In 2010, Mirjavadova was awarded the Order of Chevalier in Literature. This is not the first exhibition organized by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Azerbaijan. In 1999, there was an exhibition by Mirjavadova at the French Cultural Center named after George Sand.
Note that Mirjavadova is the wife of the prominent Azerbaijani artist Javad Mirjavadov. -16D04-
