In 2015 Azerbaijan registered the rights to 191 thousand units of real estate. This is 7% less than in the previous year, said the State Committee for Property Affairs.
The reasons for the declining trend in market activity are not reported. However, it is known that in 2015 the Ministry of Taxes for the first time started to bring transactions on sale of housing and non-residential premises by individuals to taxation.
SCPA has not provided information on real estate transactions in the primary and secondary market segment. ----08D

Consumer prices in Azerbaijan saw an overall increase of 2.1% in January 2025 compared to the previous month, according to the State Statistical Committee's latest report. Non-food products and services saw a more modest rise of 1.1%, with the transportation sector and housing services experiencing slight hikes.
