Baku to Host a Meeting of Labor Ministers of the OIC
A meeting of representatives of the Ministries of Labor OF 50 member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference will be held in Baku from 23 to 24 April. The next two days will be a meeting at the level of Ministers of Labor.
The main purpose of the meeting - the development of a sound platform for cooperation among the OIC countries, the exchange of progressive ideas and innovation, the development of the labor market in the participating countries, increased labor potential, providing labor at the level of international standards, and reducing unemployment and improving living standards.
Plans to adopt the final "Baku Framework Document", which will be the basis for further cooperation among the OIC countries in the field of labor and social protection. This declaration will also include an action plan for the coming years. The next 2 years, Azerbaijan will chair the OIC on Labor and Social Welfare.
Note that on September 10, 2011 in Istanbul (Turkey), there was the first meeting of Labor Ministers of the OIC. During the meeting, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan launched an initiative to hold the next conference in Baku.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference founded September 25, 1969 and is the largest and most influential Muslim government official international organization. At present, brings together 56 countries with a population of about 1.2 billion people. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
