Debt of Commercial Banks to Central Bank Increased by 49.4%
The debt of commercial banks to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for 11 months of 2016 increased compared to the same period in 2015 by 49.4% or 2 billion 420.8 million manat, amounting to 7 billion 322.2 million AZN.
In comparison with the beginning of the year the debt of commercial banks to the Central Bank increased by 36.23%, or 1 billion 947.2 million manat to 1 December 2016. -----71D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
