In Azerbaijan, the volume of cargo in the seven months amounted to 122.1 million tons
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of cargo transportation by all kinds of vehicles in Azerbaijan in January-July amounted to 122.1 million tons (+2.3% compared to the figures for August 1 last year).
In the structure of total freight transport to non-state enterprises had 72.9%, the share of the public sector - 27.1%.
By rail with transit goods transported 13.1 million tons (down 0.8%). By sea transported 6.9 million tons of cargo (minus 9.3%), 58.1% of which came from oil and oil products, the rest - dry cargo. Volume of freight transport by road in January-July amounted to 68.3 million tons (+6.8%).
By domestic oil pipelines during this period there was transported 25.4 million tons of oil (minus 3.1%), with 76.4% of the total pumping being the share of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline. About 7.5%, or 1.9 million tons of oil pumped up to August 1 were Turkmen products. The rest of the transport volume fell on the gas mains. - 17D-
