In the budget organizations significantly increased the number of employees
As of the 1st of October this year, the number of workers employed in the economy reached 1 501.7 thousand people. This is 24 thousand, or 1.6 % more than in January. According to the committee, is the result of the activities of the private sector , where the number of employees in the mentioned period increased from 578.6 million to 603.3 million ( +4.2 %).
In the State Statistics Committee said they definitely changed and sectoral structure of employees. By early October, worked in education 22.4 % self-employed workers , while at the beginning of this year, the figure was 22.7 % , health and social services - 8.7% ( 8.8%), information and communication - 1.7 % (1.8 %) , construction - 7.3 ( 7.5%).
It is noteworthy that despite the slight increase in the number of employees in education and health care in 2012 compared to 2005 (by 2.8 % and 1.2 %) in both the public administration, defense and social security number of employees increased from 48.2 thousand to 95.6 thousand people. It is noteworthy that in the processing industry , which is one of the most important spheres of economic activity , during this period the number of employees decreased from 104.5 thousand to 97.6 thousand ( -6.7 %).
According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2012 jobs were given to 180,275 people, and laid off were 113,508 people. As many as 3,561 of the people laid-off left work due to redundancy. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
