Ministry of Health Sends SMS Alert to Pharmacies
The capital's pharmacies have been warned of new prices for medicines.
According to the report on the website of the Ministry of Health and its Center for Analytical Examination notified the management of existing pharmacies in Baku via SMS. Epistles were sent pursuant to the decision of the Tariff Council, according to which a fixed ceiling price will take effect from 15 September.
The SMS notification states that the owners of pharmacies should be guided by wholesale and retail prices for the 256 kinds of medicines, as well as the published list of drugs that are sold without prescription.
The Ministry of Health warned the pharmacies that all registered drugs must be dispensed only on the basis of a single prescription form.
In the second phase of the campaign measures will be taken to inform the public. The site of the Ministry of Health will host the list of pharmacies with names, addresses and phone numbers of those working around the clock, as well as other necessary information to consumers. --17D-
