New Joint Venture Created in Railways
A joint venture of JSC Azerbaijan Railways and the company Stadler Rail Group is being set up.
According to the information of the state-run commercial organization, the new structure is established for the purpose of maintenance of double-decker trains brand KISS, purchased for use on the restored railway Baku-Sumgait. Recall the "old new" branch will be put into operation on September 15 this year.
The Azerbaijani Railways Chairman Javid Gurbanov and the President of Stadler Rail Group, Peter Spuller also discussed financial issues of the additional purchase of 30 passenger carriages, the report says. --17D-
