Official profile site opened on the eve www.baku2015.com, almost immediately after the meeting of the Organizing Committee. Then start was given to the program "700 days to the Olympics."
The bilingual resource ( in Azeri and English) provides full information about the participants of games, the geographical location of the country, the development of local sport and its infrastructure. There are other sorts of information about the international sport event, scheduled for the period from 12 to 28 June 2015.
At the press conference, Azad Rahimov, the Minister of Youth and Sports, said that presumably in the Games will participate 6351 people in 19 kinds of sports. The program includes wrestling, archery, swimming, water polo, diving, athletics, badminton, basketball, "three for three." The organizers provided boxing, canoeing, cycling, beach soccer, gymnastics, judo, karate, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, triathlon and fencing.
