Sixty Thousand People Use Taxi through Uber Mobile App in Baku
At a briefing for local journalists the Regional Manager of Uber mobile app (created in San Francisco to find, call and pay a taxi or private driver) for CIS countries Aleksey Stakh said the number of active users only in Baku exceeds 60,000 people.
All in all, about a year after entering the market in Baku, Uber app has been used by more than half a million people, who either live in Baku on a permanent basis, or come on holiday or on business.
Recall, the US mobile application is available in 445 cities in 69 countries on all continents. --17D-

A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers, and heads of customs services of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan is set to take place soon to discuss the progress of the Rasht-Astara railway project, a key element of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
