SOCAR"S activities to be studied and evaluated using public opinion polls
Caspian Energy International Media Group company registered in UK is going to start global research to draw up rating of state and transnational oil and gas companies.
Press release of the Caspian European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) reads that the first research will be devoted to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). The research will be done by two methods - public opinion poll of population and inquiry of experts of the oil and gas industries as well as subscribers of Caspian Energy in 50world countries.
The poll will be held in all countries where SOCAR is present as well as in the countries, where the company is going to implement wide-scale projects.
"During the research we plan to study all positive and negative aspects of oil and gas, social, environment, economic, international and other SOCAR's activities, objective and subjective problems, which partners, contractors and sub-contractors working with SOCAR in the projects are facing, as well as study the possibility of SOCAR's joining IPO," the press release reads.
The research will be held from September 3, 2012 to June 3, 2013 and its results will be submitted every month in form of subscription in two variants - exclusive and standard.-0-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
