Social Responsibility Is Priority in Activities of NIKOIL BANK
In connection with the start of the new school year, the staff of NIKOIL BANK presented a gift to the children of families of veterans of the Karabakh war. This includes school forms, portfolios, and items of school supplies. Gift-giving was held in the central office of the bank with the participation of parents and pupils, the public, and the association of veterans, martyrs and invalids of the Karabakh war.
Speaking at the ceremony of handing gifts to the children, the President of the Board of NIKOIL BANK Vasily Khamaza noted that the younger generation must remember and honor the memory of martyrs who fought for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, with due respect to the veterans and people with disabilities, who have lost loved ones and friends in the war.
Another event held by the bank was with the association of people with Down's syndrome, located in the Narimanov district. Employees of the bank gave the association a digital video camera and laid a table of sweets. In response, members of the Association, who are the artists of the theater Degeller, presented the guests a colorful presentation of scenes from the operetta Arshin Mal Alan by U.Hajibeyov and other Azerbaijani classics. - 15D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
