The share of Pasha Hayat Sigorta - more than a third of total life insurance premiums
Insurance company Pasha Hayat Sigorta has topped a third of the total life insurance premiums in the market.
At a press conference, Deputy Chairman of the Board Niyaz Ismailov said in January-October, they collected premiums of AZN 12.46 million (36% share of the niche market).
"Pasha Hayat's awards for the same period last year increased by 4.94 million manat, or 66%," said N. Ismailov. Meanwhile payments amounted to about 252 thousand manats, with annual growth of more than 3 times.
The structure of the portfolio changed. While they previously specialized in compulsory insurance against accidents at work (90% of the fees), now this segment accounts for just over two-thirds (70%) of the revenue. This means that the company has made a U-turn in the direction of individual customers without losing the corporate bonds.
Before the end of the year there is almost a month, and during that time, the company will bring the total level of premiums to 14 million manat (last year there were 8 million manat).
At the local insurance market there are 3 companies specializing in life insurance (Ateshgah Hayat Sigorta, Pasha Hayat Sigorta and Qala Hayat Sigorta). - 17D-

Last week, Azerbaijani media reported an impending increase in retail bread prices, attributing the rise to an increase in product weight. The following day, an official notification confirmed that the government had no intentions of sanctioning a bread price hike in the country. However, the threat of a price increase for this staple food remains for another reason.
