SOCAR Opens First Gas Station in Austria under Its Own Brand
Baku/24.07.19/ Turan: SOCAR opened the first gas station in Austria under its own brand, SOCAR Energy Holdings Ltd. reported.
"The official opening of the first gas station under the SOCAR brand in Austria took place in the city of Graz, Eggenberg district on July 19. The gas station that exists here has been completely refurbished, and now drivers can refuel with high-quality fuel from SOCAR," the information says.
According to the company, the next gas station under the SOCAR brand will also be put into operation in Graz already at the end of July.
"The rebranding of all 82 gas stations of the A1 company in Austria, transferred to SOCAR, will be implemented gradually over several years," the report stresses.
In December 2017 SOCAR Energy Holding acquired in Austria gas stations of A1 and Pronto Oil, companies operating in the field of lubricants trade. A1 owned 82 gas stations in Austria. Pronto Oil Mineralölhandels GmbH, operating in the field of trade, is located in the city of Graz.
SOCAR has set up a new company, SOCAR Energy Austria LLC, to manage these two companies. -0
