Shoigu appeared in public after a week-long disappearance
Baku/04.19.12/Turan: After a week-long disappearance from the information field, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held a public meeting of the board of the Ministry of Defense. Thus, rumors about his serious condition as a result of a massive heart attack were refuted.
Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces are consistently implementing their tasks to liberate the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, noting that these tasks were assigned to the army by the Supreme Commander-in-chief.
He accused the United States and "controlled Western countries" of delaying the implementation of a special war operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Their arms supplies provoke the Kiev regime to fight to the last Ukrainian, Shoigu said.
He also noted that the events of recent months clearly demonstrate how important it is for Russia to continue improving its army, Interfax reports.-0--
