The second issue on the agenda is the formation of the electoral headquarters of the single candidate from NCDF Rustam Ibrahimbekov. According to Akbar, in all probability it will be the chief of the head staff of NCDF Eldar Namazov.
When asked whether there is consideration of the possibility of nominating a candidate backup in case if the power would not register Ibrahimbekov, Akbar said: "The National Council has a single candidate. Refusal of his registration would mean the absence of elections."
