Baku/20.12.21/Turan: President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to raise various benefits and scholarships from January 1, 2022. So, the amount of old age benefits will be raised from 130 to 180 manats.
First group disability allowance will be raised from 150 to 220 manats.
As for the second group, from 130 to 180 manats, and for the third group, from 110 to 120 manats.

The allowance for children under 18 with disabilities will be raised from 150 to 200 manats, and the survivor's pension will be raised from 80 to 100 manats.

The amount of allowance for children of conscripted active military service will be raised from 100 to 120 manats.

The allowance for guardians (trustees) of children who have lost their parents and children left without parental care will be raised from 100 to 120 manats.

Besides, benefits will be raised for low-income families with a child under 1 year old - from 55 to 70 manats; for the adopted child - from 160 to 200 manats; for the adopted child under 18 years with disabilities - from 480 to 600 manats; at birth - from 200 to 300 manats; for funeral - from 300 to 350 manats.

Besides, the head of state raised from 55 to 70 manats the amount of welfare for women with more than five children.

At the same time, the size of the presidential pension for people caring for the disabled of the first group and children under 18 years of age with disabilities is raised from 50 to 80 manats.

Under another presidential decree, scholarships for students of all levels (colleges, bachelors and masters programs), as well as for doctoral students were raised by 20%.

Scholarships for honorary degrees were raised from 150 to 180 manats and from 100 to 120 manats.

As a whole, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the rise in benefits and scholarships will affect 732,000 people, including 132 students and doctoral students.  Financing of these measures will require additional expenditures of 200 million manats a year. -06В-
