Armenia`s defense of separatists accused of serious crimes is unacceptable - Foreign Ministry
Baku/04.10.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry in defense of the arrested Karabakh separatists. Baku believes that such a position of Armenia is a demonstration that Yerevan does not abandon the aggressive policy it has been pursuing against Azerbaijan for decades.
It is unacceptable to question the legitimacy of the arrest of persons accused of aggression against Azerbaijan, encouraging separatism, terrorist acts, committing military and other grave crimes against peace and humanity, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a commentary.
Armenia's attempts to initiate new lawsuits against Azerbaijan in the UN International Court of Justice, despite its previous failures in this instance, confirms its lack of interest in the process of achieving peace and normalizing relations with Azerbaijan, the document further notes.
Such activity of Armenia is the main source of threat to the establishment of peace, security and justice in the region, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stressed. ---06B---
