Ashton Promises to Help Karabakh Settlement
The EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton welcomed the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Vienna on November 19.
In her statement, she said that "the willingness of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue negotiations and to hold a new appointment soon is encouraging."
The European Commissioner also noted that the EU is ready to engage in new efforts to resolve the Karabakh conflict and to help strengthen the work of the OSCE Minsk Group. -16D-
