Azad Mursaliyev: Statement of Attorney General Ridiculous
Decisions of law enforcement agencies against Elshad Abdullayev are explained with the concern of certain circles in connection with the investigation of the disappearance of his brother, Mahir Abdullayev. Turan was told by Azad Mursaliyev, head of the committee to protect M. Abdullayev, commenting on the report of the Attorney General on the inclusion of the former Rector of the Azerbaijan International University (AIU) Elshad Abdullayev living in exile into the wanted list.
According to Mursaliyev, Elshad Abdullayev living in France said at the announcement of the Attorney General: "From now on such reports and statements do not worry me. I fulfill my mission. Already in the country and in the world everyone knows what horrors happened with Mahir Abdullayev. On the other hand, we inform the public about the specific facts indicating the prosperity of corruption in the Milli Majlis, law enforcement, the presidential administration and other state bodies of Azerbaijan."
Mursaliyev also noted that the Attorney General's information is "ridiculous." Everyone knows in what country and city, and at what address Elshad Abdullayev resides, and even knows his phone number. His search is not necessary.
Abdullayev from this address sends appeals to state agencies of Azerbaijan. In practice, France has never extradited a person granted asylum in this country, said Mursaliyev.
Recall that prosecutors accused Elshad Abdullayev of the organization of illegal organ transplants in his private clinic in Baku. -03B-
