Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office is searching for the source of the video "on the execution of Armenian soldiers"
Baku/10.10.22/Turan: Recently, several videos of an unknown source about the murder of several Armenian servicemen who were allegedly taken prisoner, and that violent actions were committed over their corpses, which almost became "policy of genocide" of the Azerbaijani state, have been launched in social networks.
According to Turan, Nemat Avazov, head of the investigative department of the Prosecutor General's Office, said this at the conference "Armenia's war crimes against Azerbaijan over the past 30 years" on October 10, organized by the Center for Social Research in Baku.
The representative of the Prosecutor General's Office stressed that Azerbaijan is a state of law, and an immediate reaction is given to each distributed video. "On these facts, a criminal case has been initiated in the Prosecutor General's Office under the Article 115 of the Criminal Code, and a preliminary investigation is currently ongoing in 10 criminal cases in connection with these facts. If the guilt of the alleged persons, military personnel is proven, the existence of the crime will be confirmed, as reflected in the video then, of course, the issue of criminal liability can be resolved. The course of the investigation cannot be affected by the statement of any state or international organization."
Avazov noted that the bodies of Azerbaijani servicemen, transferred by Armenians to Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War, were subjected to an examination by the Prosecutor General's Office. “We witnessed special cruelty towards these people. Signs of ill-treatment were the cutting of the throat of a living soldier, the removal of skin from the face, cutting off the ears, nose. Why is not there any reaction to this?”
He noted that there are videos of this nature, filmed by Armenian servicemen and published on social networks: "In this regard, an investigation is currently ongoing at the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office. These videos demonstrate such facts. I can give many examples, such as the murder of a prisoner a serviceman with his throat cut, the killing of a wounded soldier, unable to offer any resistance, not moving his arms and legs, with numerous blows from a machine gun butt on the head. Azerbaijani is not a human being, but an Armenian is a human being? Such an approach is inadmidssible."-0-
