Erdogan does not ecslude meeting with Pashinyan in October in Prague
Baku/22.09.22/Turan: At the upcoming session of the European Political Community in Prague, a meeting of the leaders of Turkey and Armenia is possible. This was stated to journalists by Turkish President Erdogan on September 22 during a briefing in New York.
“If we decide to go to the Czech Republic, then presumably Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also be there. The Armenian side has previously spoken about a possible meeting on this platform. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to discuss all issues there.
Of course, we will also have certain initiatives in the Caucasus. At the moment it is still in the planning stage. I will discuss these issues with my brother Ilham Aliyev and, depending on this, we will take steps,” Erdogan said.
*Note that the first meeting of the European Political Community will be held in Prague on October 6 before the informal EU summit scheduled for October 6-7.
The meeting will be attended by the leaders of the EU states and countries invited to the community. Its main purpose will be to hold a political discussion on strategic issues of common interest to the European continent.
The main issues will be the events in Ukraine, the energy crisis and the economic situation. In addition to the EU members, the meeting is expected to be attended by the leaders of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. -0-

After the steps taken by France to equip Armenia with Bastion multi-purpose armored vehicles and Caesar self-propelled artillery units, the European Union's decision to send military aid to Armenia is a very wrong and dangerous step and serves to increase tensions in the region. Such activities by the European Union are clearly unilateral and biased, and are a manifestation of the policy of creating "divisive lines" in the region. Aykhan Hajizadeh, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, said this while commenting on the decision of the Council of the European Union to provide military aid in the amount of 10 million euros to Armenia within the framework of the European Peace Fund.

On July 22, the President of Azerbaijan signed a decree on amendments to the Regulation "On the ASAN Viza system". The changes affected the list of data required for foreigners to obtain an electronic visa through the ASAN Viza system. Thus, foreign citizens no longer need to enter information into the system about whether they visited Karabakh and other regions of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia after 1991.
