EU Delegation to Present New Website, Announce Media Competition
Baku/15.02.21/Turan: The head of the EU Delegation in Azerbaijan Kestutis Yankauskas will hold a presentation for journalists of the new website of the diplomatic mission eu4Azerbaijan.eu through a zoom conference on February 18 at 11:00.
As stated in the message of the EU Delegation, information on local and regional projects implemented with EU financial support and other information will be available on the new website.
The website, functioning in Azerbaijani and English, will be periodically updated.
At the same event, a competition for journalists will be announced on the theme EU for Azerbaijan (EU4Azerbaijan).
The purpose of the competition is to improve public awareness of the EU's relations with Azerbaijan, including the projects being implemented and their benefits.
The conditions of participation in the competition will be announced at the event. — 06D-

Adalyat Verdiyev, the head of the civil defense staff at the public legal entity Center for Public Health and Reform under the Ministry of Health, and a military expert, has been arrested. On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops. This disclosure caused significant damage to the interests of state security and defense capability. This was stated in a report from the General Prosecutor’s Office.
