France plays leading anti-Azerbaijani role - I.Aliyev
Baku/11.01.24/Turan: Certain forces in the world cannot digest Azerbaijan's victory in the Second Karabakh War. Pressures on Azerbaijan and negative attitude of these forces will continue and France plays a leading role in this. President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with local TV channels on 10 January.
"It is France that supplies Armenia with weapons, trains their military, gives them moral support and prepares them for a new war. France's policy contributes to tensions in the Caucasus," Aliyev said.
According to him, all this creates "illusions in Armenia that they will someday be able to tear Karabakh away from us" and such sentiments exist among the Armenian leadership," Aliyev said.
For this reason Azerbaijan should not and will not calm down. New weapons are being purchased. 1 billion manats will be invested in the military-industrial complex in 2024 and the process of military construction will continue.
"If there is any danger against us, the source of this danger will be immediately destroyed by preventive measures wherever this source is located," Aliyev said. -0-
