Head of the National Council in Ukraine is detained
The head of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) for Ukraine, Yalcin Gahramanoglu, has been detained at Baku airport upon arrival from Kiev.
According to relatives, he arrived with his family from Kiev in the evening on July 28. At first, he was detained by border guards, who revealed some "problems" in the documents. Then, at the exit of the airport, he was handed over the police.
On Monday morning, he managed to tell his relatives on his cell phone that he was brought to the General Directorate to Combat Organized Crime of the Interior Ministry. Then the communication with him stopped. It is not clear what Gahramanoglu is accused of.
