Ilham Aliyev again accuses the West of the willto destabilize Azerbaijan
The scenarios implemented in the Middle East, have been prepared for Azerbaijan too, said Ilham Aliyev, opening Tuesday's meeting of the government on economic issues.
"The scenarios implemented in the Middle East, have been prepared for Azerbaijan. In 2011-12, some foreign circles talked about the inevitability of the "Arab Spring" in Azerbaijan, and made thousands of attempts to destabilize the situation." "They wanted to organize in Azerbaijan "Maidan" ,and ruined the life of the young people who joined the dirty business.
Millions of dollars were spent through NGOs at destabilizing the situation in the country, and the "fifth column" in Azerbaijan were directed to bring to power people Ministering certain circles," Ilham Aliyev said.
Since the beginning of 2013 these processes have taken a more serious form due to the presidential election. "I do not take these processes differently. In these affairs could participate only enemies of the Azerbaijani people and the state," he said.
Then he spoke about refugees from the Middle East, blaming the west of their problems.
"Western media day and night, spread shots, as if these people are to blame for the situation. They are not to blame - they are the victims of a deliberate policy of foreign intervention," Aliyev said. -02D-
