Ilham Aliyev condemned Islamophobia
At the passing in Baku 12th Summit of Heads of States Parties of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, the presidency passed from Turkey to Azerbaijan.

He further expressed concern about the manifestations of Islamophobia in the world. "Insult to Islamic holy angers us," said Aliyev. He expressed his appreciation to the members of ECO and other States, which supported Azerbaijan in the election of a member of the UN Security Council and protect the position of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue.
"The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan has never been the subject of negotiations and will not continue. UN resolutions must be carried out," said Aliyev.
As noted by Aliyev, Azerbaijan's trade with ECO countries in 2011 increased by 38% and for the first 9 months of this year - by 20%.
Additional impetus to strengthen ties give the commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and new airports, seaport, road infrastructure will help to make Azerbaijan a transport hub of the region, Aliyev said. He also said that Azerbaijan is a shareholder of ECO and will invest in the member countries of the organization. -03C06-
