Ilham Aliyev receives the Iranian Minister of Security
Baku / 14.12.18 / Turan: Iranian Minister of Information and National Security, Seyid Mahmoud Alawi, arrived in Baku on December 14. Details of the meeting have not yet revealed.
This is the first visit of the Iranian intelligence chief to Azerbaijan. Until now, Alawi extremely rarely leaves the territory of Iran. Recently, Iranian authorities have reported disclosing several conspiracies, spying networks of Mossad agents and the CIA. However, the other day a major terrorist attack occurred in Iran, for which the authorities again blamed the Zionists.
As to the possible reason for the visit of Alawi, these could be the introduction of anti-Iran sanctions and the fear of Tehran that Baku will take part in this.
It should be noted that this is already the second visit of a high-ranking representative of Tehran to Baku over the past week, when Rezai, commander of the Iranian border troops visited Azerbaijan. -02D-
