Official meetings of Ilham Aliyev
On April 2, the Head of State received the newly appointed OSCE Project Coordinator in Azerbaijan, the French diplomat Alexis Shakhtakhtinsky.
According to the press service of the President, the meeting discussed issues of further cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE.
Earlier, Shakhtakhtinsky already worked in Baku as deputy head of the OSCE mission.
On Wednesday, Ilham Aliyev received the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Necdet Ozel, and discussed with him issues of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
On the same day the Head of State received the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov. The talks focused on the development of the bilateral relations in all fields. Meredov handed Aliyev a letter from the President of Turkmenistan with an invitation to visit the country on an official visit. The proposal was accepted, the website of the President reported. -03B-

According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.
