One and a half thousand active COVID-19 patients in Azerbaijan
Baku / 11.07.21 / Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 156 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected, 37 people have recovered, the deaths of those infected with COVID-19 have not been registered, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on July 11.
The total number of infected people was 337,254, including 330,762 recovered, 4,984 died, and 1,508 active patients continue treatment.
Over the past day, 10,144 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, 38,732 people were vaccinated against coronavirus per day.
At the same time, 15 809 citizens received the first dose of the vaccine, 22 923 - the second.
The total number of vaccines in the country is 4,107,950, the total number of people vaccinated in the first phase is 2,474,911, and the number of people vaccinated in the second phase is 1,633,039.-0-

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
