One of the attackers of Ilgar Nasibov is detained
One of the participants of physical violence against human rights activist Ilgar Nasibov was detained in Nakhchivan. His name is Farid Asgerov, Ilgar’s wife was told by Nemat Jafarov, the head of the in the Investigation Department of Nakhchivan.
However, law enforcement agencies of Nakhchivan and the central office of the Ministry of Interior have not provided official information on this high-profile crime. The case was not mentioned in the list of crimes, and it is not clear if a lawsuit has been filed.
Attempts to get a comment in the Interior Ministry and the Prosecutor's Office does not give results. "This is Nakhchivan, we do not interfere in the affairs of this region," say in private conversations the law enforcement officers in Baku.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the President of Somalia to Baku "will open a new page in the close friendly relations" between the two countries.
