Meeting of the election headquarters of presidential candidate, the leader of the party "Musavat" Isa Gambar, took place on May 7. The meeting was chaired by Arif Hajily, the head of the Office of "Musavat" party. It was announced that six more people joined the staff.

Gambar is one of the few opposition members who announced his participation in the elections as an independent candidate. At the same time, opposition leaders and members of the public are actively discussing the possibility of nominating a single candidate from the democratic camp.

Journalist Nargiz Abaslamova, held in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, was subjected to violence by a guard.
