The meeting of the Presidents of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan will be held in Tehran
Baku/31.10.17/Turan: On November 1, Tehran will host a meeting of the presidents of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan, the Kremlin press service reported. This will be preceded by bilateral meetings of the Russian president with the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian President Ruhani.
The topic of the tripartite meeting is not disclosed, but this will be the second meeting in such a format. The first was held in Baku in 2016 and then the heads of the three states discussed the implementation of the North-South transport project. Apparently, in Tehran this topic will be continued. -02D-

A bipartisan group of U.S.lawmakers, led by Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, the Chairman of U.S. Helsinki Commission, on Friday announced the reintroduction of the MEGOBARI Act, as well as their intention to introduce “Georgia Nightmare Non-Recognition Act.” Both bills will push for sanctions against Georgian Dream officials while the latter will also prohibit the recognition of the Russian-backed government's legitimacy, TURAN's Washington correspondent reports.
