The National Council does not recognize the exit-poll by AJF
The National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) expressed distrust to the American company AJF (Arthur J. Finkelstein and Associates), which will conduct exit poll for the presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 9. The NCDF finds biased surveys conducted by the company, and states that does not recognize their "exit-poll" in Azerbaijan.
On September 24 , the company announced pre-election polls, in which 90.5 % of the population support Ilham Aliyev.
The NCDF believes that the purpose of this survey is creating conditions to justify the upcoming election fraud in the style of North Korea and Belarus in favor of the candidate of the ruling party.
The statement of the National Council reads that the AJF is known worldwide as a company which helps the candidates for a fee to conduct elections campaign .
Experts suggest that this company does not have to impartial conduct exit-poll.
The AJF has not published sources of financing of its operations in Azerbaijan, reads the statement of the National Council . The National Council notes that the campaign has been invited to Azerbaijan by the government agency APA.
"We all know that the agency which has not spread any critical material about Ilham Aliyev , is constantly agitating in his favor, and consistently criticizes the opposition, will never agree to the publication of polls which are not in favor of Ilham Aliyev," reads the statement of the National Council. -03D06-
