The office of the military attaché has been opened at the Italian Embassy in Azerbaijan, Head of the diplomatic mission Claudio Taffuri said today.
Along with other spheres Italy and Azerbaijan cooperate also in the military field, he said. Military-technical cooperation has been established between Azerbaijan and Italy.
Italy has been supplying various types of weapons to Azerbaijan for several years. In the recent period, military-political contacts between the two countries have further strengthened.
