There is not agreement of the arrangements for the meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, N.Mamedov
Messages of the Armenian side in the upcoming December meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia is not true. "The decision of the meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia has not been accepted yet," the journalists were told by the head of the department for external relations of the presidential administration Novruz Mamedov.
He made it clear that a meeting for the sake of meeting does not make sense. "There must be confidence that there will be conditions for any advancement of the settlement process of the Karabakh conflict," he said.
Mamedov confirmed that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are trying to organize such a meeting this year. If an agreement is reached, the public will be informed in advance, he added.
Previously the vice-speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov reported on the upcoming meeting of the presidents of the two countries. According to him, the meeting is scheduled for early December. -02D-
