Two former employees of the Ministry of foreign Affairs placed under house arrest
Baku/26.12.20/Turan: Former Azerbaijani foreign Ministry officials Farhad Molla-zade and Salim Alizadeh have been placed under house arrest.
On December 26, the Sabail district court considered petitions for changing the chosen preventive measure to house arrest in relation to Farhad Molla-zade and Salim Alizadeh at the trial chaired by judge Shahla Suleymanova. The petition was granted.
In respect of both persons, the preventive measure in the form of detention was canceled.This was reported in court.
During the operation conducted by the state security Service (SBS) on July 7, the Chairman of the tender Commission of the Ministry, Farhad Molla-zadeh, and the head of the economic Department of the Department of Affairs, Salim Alizadeh, were detained.
In respect of them, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention for 4 months.
These individuals were accused of abuse of power, embezzlement and bribery.
The head of the consular Department of the Ministry of foreign Affairs Faig Bagirov, the third Secretary of the Department of consular Affairs and approval of documents Ilgar Aliyev and the head of the legal Department of the Consulate Nurupasha Abdullayev were also arrested in this criminal case. They also faced similar charges.
Earlier it was reported that by the decision of the Sabail district court, all 3 people were also released under house arrest.
